Gym Sport Championships 2017

Gym Sport and what is it ?
Gym Sport is a combination of physical activity based on The Four E's of Fitness
- Experience - The actual enjoyment and feeling of being rewarded after exercise.
- Environment - The area in which we Exercise (The Gym)
- Exercise - The choice of exercise equipment within a gym.
- Energy - The intensity at which we exercise.
Gym Sport - The publication of results from a sport you do only in a gym.
Gym Sport was designed so that every single time you go to the gym, you have something to train for.
Gym Sport Championships - What does it involve ?
Gym Sport is competition based. You need to be a competitive individual that constantly likes to be challenged and be a gym member who wants to get fit.
- There are 36 events in one year.
- There are 6 events in each Series
- Each Series must be completed in a 2 month spread.
That is a constant eight week Programme for 365 days a year.
Every single time you go to the gym you are actually training for something ! Each time you have left the gym your experience and reward of completing a challenge will enhance your experience, which in turn will make you want to return.
How many events must I complete ?
As there are 36 events in one year to complete, there must also be time for recovery. Now it is possible to complete all 36 and still have recovery but you may want to just take some time out so that is why only 24 events must be completed.
How much will this cost ?
To use a personal trainer for one whole year can be an expensive cost. Most gym members cannot afford a personal trainer , that is why Gym Sport has the best of both world's. For gym members who cannot afford a personal trainer, but need the extra motivation and drive - training for an eight week cycle of 6 events will cost just an admin fee of £25.00 via Paypal.
If on the other hand, you can afford a personal trainer to help you then the cost can obviously increase, but WGC remains simply a result based platform to enhance competition and motivation , whereas a personal trainer can add other elements.
If you would just like to see what it takes to push yourself for one event - the cost is just £5.00 via PayPal
Our first event is Excalibur - why not dip your toe in the water and see what is possible ?
- Intermediate - to be completed by 15th January 2017 - click on the blue to see the challenge.
- Advanced - to be completed by 15th January 2017
If you would like to jump in with both feet and commit to doing all 36 then the Early Bird cost is £130 via PayPal saving £20.
How will I benefit ?
Learning to become Gym Athlete is an ongoing process full of surprises.

You will learn about

How many hours will I have to train per week ?
We all work in a busy, manic and hectic schedule. Finding the time to train is hard as hell. WGC will provide for you a gym challenge, that you will know what to do before you set out for the gym.
You will know effectively exactly the amount of time each challenge takes, so you can plan your visits more effectively and leave with that all important feeling of a great work out and satisfaction.
- At Intermediate level - 2 to 3 hours per week training (3 /4 sessions - 30 - 45 mins)
- At Advanced levels - 4 to 5 hours per week training (4 / 5 sessions - 30 - 45 mins)
If you cannot commit to these time frames then Gym Sport is not for you . There is no simple pill to swallow, no magic ingredient you will need to train and train effectively.
What do I need ?
A gym will have a number of exercise machines and it is these we concentrate on. We do not engage on any weights machines, but use free weights with the support of body weight exercise and cardio machines. We only use non skilled exercises, that are taught at induction level. You will need to be a member of a gym and have access to -
If you have all of these (and any sports watch will do) then you can comprehensively change your entire outlook to training in a gym, with constant results.
The benefit of using the Treadmill , Bike and Rower integrated into a constant gym challenge environment is quite possibly the most rewarding aspect of gym life.
Who is Gym Sport aimed at ?
Entering into a gym for the first time is somewhat daunting. The experienced gym user who is already training constantly in aesthetic, or strength training forms the majority member base and Gym Sport is not aimed at these guys.
This type of training will not suit those that are looking for aesthetic training or strength training alone. It is too diverse and performance driven, with constant variables and relies little on how you look, but entirely on how you perform.
It does however focus on an equal measure of gender athletics, both male and female.
So if you include yourself in these categories then quite possibly gym sport os for you.
- Regular attendance in a gym.
- Does not attend groups or classes as the majority of vists.
- Likes to be pushed and challenged.
- Cannot afford a personal trainer, but needs motivation.
- Has the desire to perform better.
- Is curious to the levels of fitness they are constantly at?
