How long have you been X-Training?

I did a couple of X-training events in the mid 90's, but took it up as my main sport in 2004 with the World Ultrafit Championships in Bahrain where I came 7th in the Open.
Why do you find X-Training so exciting?
There's lots of variety, more and more events and the competition is getting better and better, which pushes me to improve and innovate my training and preparation all the time

Sit-ups (I once did 1000 in 20 mins, without feet held)

Did you excel at sport at school and if yes, what sport?
Athletics, especially field events
Do you compete in any other sport?
Not at the moment
Have you competed in any other sport in the past?
Decathlon, Ice Hockey, Rowing & Weight Lifting
How often do you rest?
I have a days rest between each training day.
Do you suffer many injuries?
I used to when I was training for an competing in the decathlon. Still shaking off a long-standing achilles and shoulder injuries.
Have you ever parachuted (sky dived tandem or solo) out of a plane. Would you?
I sky dived out of a helicopter at Surfers Paradise in Australia. Awesome!

Do you think the obesity problem in schools and the US can be controlled?
Individuals should take responsibility for their own health. Having said that, parents should take responsibility for their children's health, and more importantly, set a good example.
What's the one golden rule in weight management?
Eat the right foods (ideally living, raw, vegan) and do the right training, including resistance training (which increases the metabolism).
Having said that, people focus too much on weight, wheras they should be focusing on body-fat.

Body Fat is more useful, because muscle is heavier than fat
