
How long have you been X - Training?
I started competing in December 2007 at the Hampshire, run by Ty Whitlock. I have always trained in similar ways, but this was the first time I competed.
Why do you find the sport so exciting?
I enjoy the sport due to the all round functionality fitness required. And in the very short time I have been doing it, have made many good friends and been introduced to sound people who are superfit and also love the sport.
Do you teach X - Training to any of the recruits?
No. We have a set training programme for our recruits. But it has some similar aspects.
What are there views on X - Training?
They do as they are told!
Who has been your biggest influence in X - Training?
Just meeting a lot of superfit guys who are not full of themselves - like blokes liftning weights all day and just want to look good on the piss.
How often do you train?
I train everyday in some aspect, with active recovery day on Sunday. I train with Les Barrow and Danny Watson (who is on the same course as me) which is great due to our similar fitness and also same goals in mind.
What is your favourite exercise?
I love shoulders and bench and I love finishing the treadmill - but not doing it!
What is your faveourite food for X -Training ?
Anything with a lot of meat!
What is your ambition in X - Training?
To do my best and progress well over the next few years,gaining as much experience as possible.
What exercise secret would you give to a newconer at X - Training?
Train hard on everything. Do stick to what you are good at.
