Lloyd has ben responsible for creating a buzz amongst his clients at Fitness First in Camberly Surrey. Not only does he encourage them to train that little bit harder, but he does all he can to encourage them to motivate and achieve, by X Training, to those that wish to try it.

Whether Lloyd is competing in Dubai, or Manchester he does his very best to make sure that he supports his clients first and enjoys the social side that sport brings. He is a credit to Personal Trainers and an outstanding X Trainer for all the right reasons.

How long have you been X-Training?
Exactly 1 year.
  

Why do you find X-Training so exciting?
As a participant it's a challenge, 8-11 different disciplines, pumps you up and pure elation when you do well in an event!
As a coach its even more rewarding when your client acheives a personal best, wins their race and the discovery of my latest client who entered her first event at the Hampshire and won it! Doesn't get better than that from a coach's perspective!

Do you teach X-Training to your clients?
If its suitable for them and they want to then, YES DEFINATELY!!

What are their views on X-Training?
They love it! Gives them focus and drive!Visual evidence of progression with improved times.

Who has been your biggest influence in X-Training?
Meeting the ledgendary Michelle Parsons in Dubai who was so down to earth and happy to give out tips. Steve and Sue Regan-Watts such a lovely couple with heaps of X-training experience.Respect!

How often do you train?
Depends on my energy levels varies 3-6 sessions a week.

What is your favourite excerise?
probably shoulder press unless its at the end of the Octathalon where it was pure hell!

What is your favourite food for training?
I'm gonna say Pasta and porridge with honey all in the same bowl! LOL!!

What is your ambition in X-Training?
To win next years Grand-Prix at intermediate level.

What exercise secret would you give a newcomer to X-Training?
Be very specific, patient and train really hard!

What is your favourite film?
Star Wars, Rocky, Galdiator and Four weddings would all be in my top ten.

What is your favourite action/drama film?
Casino Royale maybe.

Peter Kay

What was the last CD you bought?
101 Club anthems... need the banging tunes for my circuit classes!

What radio station do you listen to?
Radio 1 mainly but do listen to others.

I like quite a few. Chris moyles is up there though eh?

There is a lot I like can't single out a favourite.

John Travolta in most of his films

Darth Sidious - Star Wars

Rocky and Escape to Victory

Poss X-factor in the early stages.

Rarely. the odd episode of Eastenders.

Gillette soccer saturday if I'm not in the gym.


On Health...

Do you think the obesity problem in schools and the US can be controlled?
Its always going to be a problem thats only going to get worse. Grim outlook I know!

What's the one golden rule in weight management?
Little and often with plenty of exercise.

Do you know your BMI & BMR?
Its not really worth knowing. Bodyfat tests such as Skinfold tests are better.

Do you know your resting and maximum heart rate?
approx 47 - 180 bpm

Do you train with an HR monitor?
Occasionly just out of interest.
