What happens when one gym embraces X Training and introduces it to it's members? Aidy Cartwright gives a break down of some of his clients and members and how they have adapted to the sport of X Training.

Every gym throughout the world has this element within their walls. And WGC.com takes pride in the fact that without the likes of Personal Trainers like Aidy Cartwright, Gary Nicholas, Lloyd Millichap, Kirk Gibbons pioneering a new sport for their members, then training would not have have the same motivation as those have now got listed below.

 


 Stephen Wild

Even when finding things tough in a race, Stephen will always manage to smile and enjoying himself.  Stephen who regularly runs 10ks and half marathon races is a pleasure to have about the gym.  Stephen is determined to continue and improve his X-training and will be entering the Dale Destroyer in December.

 Sabir Darr

`Shabs,` as he is better known is a true professional.  He put in a good performance at Gorton and is always seeking new ways to improve his performance.  Shabs has competed in numerous X-training events and is looking forward to a re-match with Aidy in December.

 Stuart Malem

An unassuming gentleman, Stuart Malem is a strong guy who improves week by week.  Stuart earned a personal best in the Gorton Grueller.  He seems to have all the ingredients required to improve and impress at each event.

 

 Annabelle Weaver

Bella, as she is better known has been on the X-training Circuit for over a year now. This summer she won the Intermediate Category at the `WGC.com` event Rochdale.  Bella continues to train hard and is looking forward to her next challenge, the Dale Destroyer.

 Robert Warburton

Robert who never turns down a new challenge is a pleasure to be around.  He trains regularly with Aidy attending both his running club and X-training classes. Although new to the sport Robert continues to improve steadily and will be sure to line up at the next event with a real determination to succeed.

 Jerome Martyr

Jerome trains regularly with Aidy and can only improve in Xtraining.  Jerome is steady throughout and knows how to pace himself to complete the challenging courses.  He is determined to train hard for his next event.

 Stuart Gilbert

Stuart who came 3rd in the Intermediate Master category at Gorton is as serious about his training as he is about his job as a PE teacher.  Stuart trains twice a day is making great advances in the X-training world.  He is already well into his training for the `Destroyer` at Rochdale and will be a serious threat to the number 1 spot.

 Dominic Boardman

Dominic, a close rival to Stuart Gilbert snatched 2nd place in the Gorton Grueller.  Dominic always the entertainer, his crazy legs are a sight to behold!

 

 Mary- Eve McNerney

Mary-Eve was determined to complete the Grueller despite suffering from bronchitis and cracked ribs.  She was awarded the trophy for the day’s best performance at the Grueller.  Rochdale is hoping Mary-Eve will return from London to defend her title as Advanced Female winner (WGC.com Challenge) at the Dale Destroyer in December.

 
 
 
 Doug Moir

Doug, another keen Rochdale X-trainer completed the course in an improved time.  Doug who had lots of support from friends on the day is keen to sign up for future events and now has regular PT sessions tailored specifically to X-training.

 Andy Lett

One of the first X-trainers in the country and one of the most successful, put in a heroic performance to claim 3rd spot overall at Gorton.  Andy is an inspiration to us all.

 

 

 Aidy Cartwright

Aidy, a personal trainer and soon qualified nutritionist, has inspired and motivated many people at Rochdale.  He takes great pleasure in encouraging people to try X-training and supports them throughout their training. After the resounding success of Rochdale’s 1st X-training event this summer, Aidy is now organising the Dale Destroyer, a brutally tough event, which will take place in December.  His aim is to incorporate this event in the 2008 Grand Prix. This new course will be available soon to all on this website.

 Jo Fox

Jo is new to the X-training circuit.  One of Aidy`s newer clients Jo already wants to run through the Grueller again in order to beat her time.   Jo Completed the course in a good time and is determined to advance in X-training.

 

 Claire Morris

Claire has now completed 2 X-training events and keeps improving with each training session.  Claire, who trains most days of the week, will certainly be one to watch in the future.

  
 Claire Redondo

Claire put on a brave performance at Gorton.  Claire’s trains most days and hopes to challenge for the big spots in the intermediate category in December.

 

 Robert Douglas-Reeves

Robert is a serious competitor with a strict training schedule.  He has now completed 2 events and will be challenging for the honors in his next event.

 

 Jamie Fraser

Jamie is now a veteran of the X-training world.  He won a closely fought battle at Gorton to come 1st in the Intermediate Category.  Jamie has improved month by month and training daily with Andy Lett can only improve his already great ability.

 Natalie Foreman

Natalie who completed her 2nd event at Gorton is a regular at Aidy`s X-training Class and has now definitely got the X-training bug.  She is now in training for the Dale Destroyer in December and will be working hard to improve her impressive start.
