Ladies Intermediate:

Sam SauntAlthough Sam Saunt has dominated and won the women’s Open Intermediate, there is still some very important business to be finished, which girls are going to get that all important 2nd and 3rd places.  Whose is your money on?  Nicky Humphrey (43 Points), Hayley Deighan (39 Points) or Penny ‘watch out girls’ Bunton (39 Points).  WELL DONE ONCE AGAIN goes to SAM!

The Masters is all set to go down to the wire, with Jenny Davies-Hoare (54 Points) and Caz Waywell (45 Points).  It’s gonna be a real cracker!  Caz must win to take the title.

Men’s Intermediate:

Phil Rawle The impressive Phil Rawle is already GP Champ and the 2nd and 3rd places are still up for grabs.  It is between, Jamie Fraser (49 Points) and Russell Stenning (44 Points).  The Russculator is going have to pull something out of the bag very special to beat the ever improving and very strong Jamie.   Pete Abraham has clinched a well deserved 4th place.

The Men’s Masters will be another great finale any 3 men could take the title they are, Ian Johnson (50 Points), Mark ‘Rocky’ Rudkins (46 Points) and John ‘the beast’ Currell (45 Points).   On paper, John Currell should be favourite as he has had maximum points in all 3 events he has competed in.  BUT IT’S ALL ON THE DAY!

 Ladies Advanced:

Another exciting climax will be the women’s Open, which will between Kirsty Read (55 Points) and Becky Nicholas (54 Points).  Kirsty and Becky have been neck and neck all year, just 1 point in it, GREAT STUFF!

Sarah Deed (39 Points) who has had a fantastic year will be fighting out 3rd place with Trudie Hawksworth (34 Points).  If they both have a mare or pick up an injury, then Sarah Connolly (28 Points) or Marie Mitchell (27 Points) could slip in and steal the honours.

Sue and SteveThe Ladies Masters has already been won by Sue Regan-Watts (60 Points).  Sue has been an outstanding athlete over many years and sometimes has not had the recognition she fully deserves.

SO BIG WELL DONE TO SUE!!!!YIPPEE!!!

Mikki SkingslyMikki Skinsley (49 Points) has also secured an excellent 2nd place with some terrific performances throughout the year.  A very interesting 3rd place is still there for the taking, Val Ritchie (35 Points) looks favourite but Michelle Wakefield (30 Points) and Chris Rayner (27 Points) are snapping at her heels and either of those two, could still take it.

Men’s Advanced:

Sam Orgee (57 Points) has won the men’s Open in fine style, Sam is an amazing athlete and is going to get better and better.  BIG WELL DONE TO SAM!

Sam Orgee

Jason King (34 Points) who has had a fairly quiet, but still successful year is still in commanding 2nd place and with a good performance at the ‘Hamps’ he should hold on.  Although Mr D (30 Points) has only competed in two events he sill has an outside chance of getting 3rd place.  Martin Carter (29 Points) and Simon Bellinger (26 Points), also stand a good chance for the bronze.  Martin has had a very good year and Simon as consistent as ever can not be ruled out.

The Men’s master’s has been a very strong category this year and seems to be getting stronger.  The Kirk Gibbons (60 Points) has ruled supreme and has proved and shown that age is no excuse.  With Kirk taking Gold and winning all of his events, he is the ‘ultimate all round X-Trainer’.  Well done Kirk!

Andy LettAndy ‘Plankasaurus’ Lett (40 Points) has had an awesome year with some great displays his 2nd place looks pretty secure, the only thing will stop Andy from getting 2nd would be an injury.  3rd place is wide open, Brummie Paul Morton (33 Points) who was doing Intermediate last year has had a superb 2007, Steve ‘Oxilitis’ Oxlade (31 Points) and Sylburn Miller (24 Points) are in the shake up for that all important bronze podium position.

Gary NicholasGary Nicholas (right) was also in the mix for 3rd place but he has got swervalitis-shouldaitis and excuseitis.
