Amber Anderson is probably what the future of X Training is. She is one of the competitors that challenge herself. She competes in the Open categories and like me - more often then not ends up in the lower placing's. That does not put her off and she is as determined as anyone to put ia 100% of her best ability to any event and you cannot ask for more.

On X-Training...

How long have you been doing X Training?

1 and a half years.  My first one was in netfit in Weybridge.  It gave me something different to do in the gym – Nelson (my husband) and Mikki Skingsley (my training partner) did the comp as well, so all three of us trained together.  I really enjoyed it and all the people involved are really supportive, even though I’m terrified every time!

What excites you about the sport?

It’s a great sense of achievement at whatever level you’re competing at.  The races are always good; you never know who’s going to lose it on the shoulder press!

They think it looks too painful, but when they give it a go they’re hooked.                            Amber Anderson
