On X-Training...

How long have you been X-Training?
X-training specifically for only a few months but I have always cross trained with my cardio and done circuit training every now and again. High rep weights are a bit brutal though; i definitely need to do more of that to be competative next time.

Why do you find X-Training so exciting?
Is a real challenge. Varied and intense training guaranteed. You can just do the whole run through twice in any given session and u get a holistic workout that hits the an/aerobic systems.

What are your views on X-Training?

As a 'sport' is is very accessible to people from a range of fitness backgrounds. If you put the work in, anyone can get that elite status. It is definitely a sport that i would love to see grow, with more events especially in the London area. I would love to see more body weight exercises like body rows, chin ups and press ups.

How often do you train?
Cardio 6 days a week, mainly rowing. Haven't run for 2 1/2 years due to chronic hamstring problem. Hoping it will hold out for the run! Weights maybe 4x a week
