This site is free to any gym that wishes to provide a on line gym challenge for it's members that is free from any entry chrage.
If a gym wishes to set an entry fee to any WGC Challenge and publish its results on line specific to their gym - then the following rules apply
The UK Gym Challenge Association
By accepting the terms and conditions to WorldgymChallenge.com you are automatically registered as a member to The UK Gym Challenge Association, which entitles the member to have complete use of the database for their members for any free challenge only registered on the WorldGymChallenge.com database. (Terms apply if an entry fee is payable upon entry to any Gym Challenge on the WGC database). Any breech of these conditions will be considered gross misconduct of our services and all information and data withdrawn from public view to the offending gym.
Interpretation
In these terms, where we refer to something in the singular, it also covers the plural and vice versa. Where we refer to something using a particular gender, it refers to all other genders (where relevant). These terms are to be interpreted strictly in accordance with English law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts of law. Local laws may also apply insofar as they are inconsistent with English law and you are responsible for complying with local legal requirements regarding your use of our web site.
We have included headings in our terms so you can read them easily. However, the headings do not form part of the contract itself as for legal interpretation purposes and will not affect the meaning of any part of the terms.
Nature and services of WorldGymChallenge.com
Our website exists to promote awareness of the benefits of cross training and to provide a comprehensive source of information and support to allow you to monitor your progress, allowing you to record performance times and compare them with other members of the challenge. Please note that you will be listed in the branch of the gym at which you have specified in your profile and you will be able to compare results with fellow members of that same branch – if you wish to be involved in more than one gym challenge because you have multiple memberships you will need to register again separately.
Events
Any event that is carried out in any gym that uses the WorldGymChallenge.com database may be used exclusively for the gym and members free of charge. However if an entry fee is used then entry is to be by only www.activenetwork.co.uk (UK and Ireland) and fee's according to number of participants apply. or send a cheque to:

Event Fee's
£150.00 plus vat
The average entry fee for a national event is £15 - 30.00 (suggested) and local event fee £10.00 plus any additional on line booking fee.
All On Line funds will be held in the www.activenetwork.co.uk account and released at a predetermined date according to the terms and conditions of Active Network. Entry times will therefore have to be given a cut off date for entry, so funds can be released to the organiser in advance of their event.
Results and Entry Service
WGC acts as a portal to advertise your event to local members and members all over the UK and results can be published specific to your gym only or via a events section for all members to see.
