Introduction by WGC
Having an athlete of Andy's pedigree get involved in the sport is an indication if just how much the appeal is of X Training when it takes a hold of you. I don't know Andy, but I do know Sue and Stve Regan Watts, who introduced Andy to the sport. They see potential a mile off and it's a pleassure to have Andy on the site. Although I must add for somebody who jumps over poles feet first and their head pointing downwards, is slightly - in my opinion disturbed. I think Andy will fit in nicely!!!

Variety of training and a true mental/physical test.

Do you teach X-Training to your clients?
Not a fitness professional, but would use XT sessions if I was.

Who has been your biggest influence in X-Training?
I must 'thank' Steve Watts for intoducing me to the sport. I initially joined the gym to keep fit for Rugby but it wasnt long before I was hooked on X Training as a better reason to go to the gym.

Do you suffer many injuries?
Carrying loads of injuries from Pole Vault days and playing Rugby from 1998-2006. Achilles injury stopped me Pole Vaulting along with hamstrings/back/shoulders....However, X training sessions avoid flat out sprinting and heavy plyometric work so I can still cope with high volume. Regular Sports Massage has been a great help.

Have you ever parachuted (sky dived tandem or solo) out of a plane. Would you?
No, and Yes

What is the one sport you have never taken part in but would have loved to have excelled in?
Gymnastics (High Bar) . Ive manged to do the giant circle bit whilst tied on to the bar, but all that 'catch and release' and triple back somersault dismount stuff would be great to master.

If you could meet anyone in sport, past or present, who would it be?
Daley Thompson. Ive met Daley, competed against him, beaten him at my speciality event, but still have total respect for his Decathlon achievments and the way he could always rise to the occasion when it mattered.
