On X-Training...

How long have you been X-Training?
First comp was in august 2008

Why do you find X-Training so exciting?
I love the adrenalin it gives you when you are racing your opponent, its hard & it pushes you to the max, i've always wondered how hard i can actually push myself & competing in x training has shown me if you want to win that bad you'll go as far as you need to!

Do you teach X-Training to your clients?
Yes, even my older clients enjoy it, i just have to be careful and adapt things to suit

What are their views on X-Training?
I think its an excellent way of working out, loads of variety & good all round fitness/toning. you can also adapt it to fit in when your short of time so theres no excuse for missing a workout!!

Who has been your biggest influence in X-Training?
I haven't been in x training long enough to have had anyone to influnce me, at the moment my main aim is to be the best i can and start winning trophies!!!
Experiencing the gymxtc in sept 08 has just left me hungry for more!! lol

How often do you train?
I teach 6-8 spinning classes a week but not including them i prob train 4-5 times a week, I now tend to listen to my body if i feel knackered i'll rest.

What is your favourite excerise?
Theres not one exercise i favour as long as i feel totally knackered after a session i'm happy, although i have just started indoor rowing and i'm enjoying that - i'm gonna test myself at the british indoor rowing championships on the 26th oct 08 - i love a challenge!!

What is your favourite food for training?
Don't really have a favourite food??!! I do tend to stick to healthy eating 90% of the time, i do love a nice cold dr pepper after a comp as a little reward!!

What is your ambition in X-Training?
To win!! I'm by no way nasty in anyway but i do love to win & i wanna be the best

What exercise secret would you give a newcomer to X-Training?
Work hard & have loads of fun on the way

On Sport...

Did you excel at sport at school and if yes, what sport?
Yep don't wanna sound big headed but from what Ican remember I was pretty good at most sports we did.

Do you compete in any other sport?
Triathlon & just trying out indoor rowing.

Have you competed in any other sport in the past?
Yes - 2 different styles of karate, trampolining, springboard diving,

How often do you rest?
When my body tells me too, I try to get 2 days rest a week if I don't my training goes down hill, teaching so much spinning I have to be really careful as its very easy for me to over train.

Do you suffer many injuries?
I tend to get a few niggles that just come and go

Have you ever parachuted (sky dived tandem or solo) out of a plane. Would you?
Yes i've done 2 static line jumps & 1 tandem freefall also 10 bungee jumps
