X Training Gym of the Year 2009

The Flame Awards run by the FIA reflect a decision making process by members of the FIA who decide who has a gym of outstanding abilility and member service :

Worldgymchallenge Gym of the year has an award for the gym with the fittest 'Gym - Fit' members

  • The most motivated Personal Trainers and Gym Instructors
  • The most motivated members who are always taking part in events and getting results
  • Gyms that take pride in their members achievements
  • A year long effort by every single member of a gym to get points for results that really matter - members' fitness.

Aims and Goals

 

Rochdale Fitness First would perform exceptionally well due to it's events and members who regualry compete.In the first year of X Training Gym Of The Year clubs are asked not to register. The whole event will be a voluntary run through until 2010. A WGC member that asks for his or her gym to be part of this event will automatically be entered. Only WGC members can represent a club.

The growth of X Training is a two way street - as much exposure about the sport is necessary for both the individual who competes and about the club that supports the individual.

X Training to exist needs as many platforms as possible to get the media spotlight to concentrate of the amazing ability of the Gymathletes who perform in this incredible sport. WGC is taking on this initiative to increase awareness of the sport and is asking for support from the WGC members who would like to see the sport grow.

"Pride in members - Pride in gyms"

Other initiatives taken on by other organisations are a welcome addition to the sport and as long as the message is getting out there to both member and and gym, then exposure to this sport will increase.
