Gymxtc Time Trials March (Nelson ' Duzzit' Anderson) ROKO Gillingham
Nelson ' Duzzut' Anderson
A little closer to home for this time trial for Nelson. Kent borders Essex and as David Lloyd are not yet doing Time Trials, Nelson popped down to ROKO in Gillingham, to see if he could improve on his WGC time. Pictured also with Nelson - current fastest man at Fitness Xtreme Jason King and Personal Trainer Dayrl Fitches.
Time Trial April (Sgt. Danny Watson) Roko Gillingham
Sgt. Danny Watson of the Army Physical Training Corps and currently fastest man on the Iron Soldier Soccer am challenge - has been involved in X - Training for a relatively short period of time but has had a huge influence on his training - Danny know's how good this sport is for him and for the friends and colleagues that compete and support one another. Danny will also be doing more for charity at the end of the year in a dip and pull up challenge. Details can be found on the website.
Fitness X-Treme (April) Luton Fitness First
The best of event of the year ? Maybe? Any event earns that title on the day - what is definite about it is that brings together on one day a sense of belonging , where members volunteer to judge, marshal and compete and that is team building in any language. Pictured far right is Sarah Deed , winner of the ladies Open.
The Rochester Health Club 'Tri - a' Gym Challenge (May)
How easy is a gym challenge to set up? With no notification gym staff from the Rochester Health club asked members of the gym if they wanted to take part in a gym challenge. Between the hours of 4 - 8pm a number of members just for something different agreed to give it a ' Tri'. A fun day day and a fun challenge and made owner Terry Moore interested in pushing X Training within his own gym and very generously provided a venue (Dance Junction) for the Gymxtc event later on in the year.
June (Gym Ironman)

The Gym Ironman unfortunately fell into some controversy earlier on the year . Due to WGC being invited to events only, it is unfortunate that the Gym Ironman and the Gorton Grueller, will no longer be reported about on the WGC website - this is by choice of the organisers to remain outside of the WGC remit and act independently for X Training events.

WGC wishes these two events all the best for future races and will continue to support X Training in a capacity to put splits up for registered members at any X Training event with a WGC prefix and contribute towards The WGC Hall of Fame .

The World Gym Challenge website and database records splits and gives Personal Folders for any X Training event and welcomes any gym or organiser to be part of this, so members can see quite plainly and clearly the times that it takes to do these challenges in the X Training tables provided.

Any event that is deemed appropriate to this website for it's contribution towards X Training will have (as far as possible) as much information about that event, so that those that are curious about X Training can find easy access about this incredible sport, the location of events, the time, date and entry forms, which will soon be avaiilable on line. And most importantly the results.

The UK lead the way in X Training and the UK Gymatheletes are the best in the world.
