Calso 2007
8th March

The Calso Event is almost upon us and there has been fighting talk on the dbmax forum as to how many points Hywel can actually accumulate!

It will be an interesting day with this innovative and new approach to the formula that normally takes place. It started with controversy and will no doubt be a successful well run day because basically that is what Gary and Becky do best.

Those guys and girls taking part in this event are the ones that put the hours in training and full respect to you all.

There is no harder event in the gym environment, then X Training which challenges two of the main components of fitness- Strength and Endurance. And if I was a betting man after seven minutes on each event, it would take a braver man then me to argue the point with anyone who enters this event.

A massive thank you to Gary and Becky for all the hard work that went into organising this event.

The Calso Lucky 7's took place on Saturday the 10th March in Bromley. It was without doubt a resounding success and considered by those that entered one of the best events ever. Keep posted for more results and reports.

Stuart Leng has once again written the race report for the Calso Event.

He has put the hours in on the day controlling the races and keeping on top of the judges and now has supplied an excellent report.

Read it here and take pride in the fact that for those that took part in yesterdays event, you are part of a community that take your training seriously and achieve great results, using all the skills you have learnt and trained for in the gym.

The next event is in Luton - I wonder if any more may take an interest in X Training? And reach the levels that only serious and determined individuals need apply for!

Why is Derby the happening town for X -Training and why do they always produce amazing results on race day. Could it be anything to do with Kirk Gibbons? Kirk is a top Personal Trainer, who not only teaches X -Training to his clients that want to improve in this challenging new sport, but also specialises in a whole range of Sport Specific Training. If results are what you after - no matter what sport you do ,then Derby and Kirk is a good place to start.
