When it comes to training and getting results X Trainers from all over the UK beat anybody who ever set foot inside a gym. Why? Because they have the motivation, focus and desire to put all of their training together and reach levels of fitness that others try to aspire to.
The UK GCA is here to promote and publicise the fittest X Trainers in the country and report about them, the events they enter and the results they achieve.
The biggest gyms in the UK with the highest number of members simply cannot compete with what X Training has to offer - because if it did, it would be taking pride in their members achievements in fitness levels and promoting X Training within their own gyms and their members who achieved great results..
Speaking from personal experience - the gym I belonged to in Kent cared little about what I had achieved, their personal trainers cared even less and the result was I left that gym. Fair result all round - the gym wasn't bothered about what I had achieved and I wasn't bothered about them.
But what is crucial to the growth of the sport is that somebody recognises just what is being achieved out there, reports about it, photographs it and says that it is a privilige to be part of the growth of this sport, and that is where the UK GCA fits in.
WGC has contacted Sport England , UK Sports and UK Athletics and without classification of a recognised sport, none can have any influence over those who enter X Training Challenges or put on events.
In essence X Training is a sport made up by the people of gyms - who are bored with the same routine of a stale slow paced training program that does not deliver recordable results.
The FIA (Fitness Industry Association) represents the operators and providers of the Fitness Industry. Not a member of a gym. I may have this wrong, but it is my understanding a gym is repsoncible for their business model - not the FIA and the member of a gym has no representation at any level by the FIA.
The UK GCA represents those who have achieved results from any gym challenge they have entered that is on our database and is 100% member focused.
What the UK GCA does - is promote the best Gymathletes in the UK and the events they enter.
Take a look at what happens when the best Gymathletes gather and show just how one Gym Challenge can create an amazing day with superb all round fitness and results.
