Two and a half years
Why do you find X Training so exiting?
It's more of a challenge then any individual event. It forces you to train at things you don't like and are not particularly good at. It's the complete body work out and gives you a greater all round fitness. It's very competitive.
Do you teach X Training to your clients?
I teach X Training to colleagues I work with at Shell.
What are their views on X Training?
Everyone who has been introduced to to the sport by me have become a convert. They absolutely love it and I've even convinced a few to partake in competitions with me.
Who has been your biggest influence on in X Training?
Howell Davies and Adam Hoarder from the Open category and Kirk Gibbons and Rob Volpe from the masters.
How often do you train?
Most days .Sometimes twice a day
What is your favourite exercise?
Shoulder press (resistance) and running (cardio)
What is your favourite food for training?
I don't really focus on nutrition, although I know I should
What is your ambition in X Training?
To win a competition in the masters category or at least get on the podium.
What exercise secret would you give to a new comer to X Training?
Train hard and push the boundaries, but ensure you get adequate rest for recovery.
